Eleven-year-old Jack Potter collected nearly 1,000 plastic bottle caps to encourage people to recycle their own bottle caps. For his hard work and dedication, Jack got the opportunity to exhibit his recycling project at the Iowa State Fair, and he got in the news!
A new crazy way to recycle
You probably recycle your bottles and cans all the time, but have you ever thought of recycling other things? Like crayons?
Check out crazycrayons.com, a website where you can get crayons in all shapes and sizes, made from old recycled crayons! You can send in broken crayons that you find and help save them from the trash!
