The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) updated its Definition of Recycling in September 2014. NRC’s Policy Committee Co-chairs, Fran McPoland and Stephen M. Bantillo, will discuss how that came about, the process NRC followed, and how the updated definition establishes a basis for engagement on a variety of key industry issues within the waste and resource management hierarchy. In addition, this webinar will introduce attendees to the “Guideline for Accountable Management of End-of-Life Materials” produced by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). This first-of-its-kind document established a common set of definitions, performance metrics, and reporting requirements related to materials’ end-of-life management. Panelists Include:
Fran McPoland – Associate, Colling Swift & Hynes
Stephen M. Bantillo - Executive Director, Recycling Certification Institute (RCI) CRI’s President, Susan Collins, will moderate the panel of speakers.
Please join us on May 26, 2016 to take a journey down the recycling definition highway in order to fully understand the practical implications of the updated definitions.
