New Vendor, Defined Process Presenting Challenges to Summit Curbside Recycling Program
July 14th, 2015 - SUMMIT, NJ - Beginning in July, the City of Summit began working with a new vendor, F. Basso Jr. Rubbish Removal Inc., for residential recycling. Along with this new vendor, came a need for Summit residents to adhere to the parameters of the more cost-effective and environmentally friendly dual-stream curbside collection system, a system which was always in place but not fully enforced by the previous recycling vendor.
