Artist turns ubiquitous plastic water bottles into sculpture - Nancy Gillson
July 5th, 2012 - Ohio - Aurora Robson has found a striking way to recycle plastic water bottles: She turns them into sculptures. Her exhibits, including one planned for the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, encompass more than 75,000 water bottles — collected, cleaned, cut and molded into free-standing and hanging pieces that some viewers have likened to the glasswork of Dale Chihuly.
