The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) released a report, “Increasing recycling of beverage containers in Minnesota: Recommendations for a statewide recycling refund program.”
The report, which was researched by Tim Buwalda of ReclayStewardEdge, considers the impacts of a 10-cent deposit on beverage containers in order to boost the state’s recycling volume.
Separately, the Glass Packaging Institute considered the same subject. GPI will present the research and modeling results that were produced by RRS.
